From enquiry ➡️ trial ➡️ wedding morning… Rachel was an absolute DREAM bride! 🥹

I first met Rachel at @makeup.by.tish studio for a joint trial, and honestly, what a fun day it was! We played around with a really soft, loose wave and chatted through ways we could add a little more volume and oomph to her hair.

We discussed extensions, I gave Rachel my recommendations… and she took my advice! 👏🏼

Fast forward to the wedding morning…

I walked into the @retreatelcotpark and immediately knew this was going to be one of those mornings I LOVE. Rachel was completely relaxed, surrounded by her bridesmaids, and the whole atmosphere was so calm!

So, me and my assistant @amyinwood.hairmakeup got to work!

We gave her the most BOUNCY, glamorous blow-dry before getting to work on those curls. I set everything and kept those big rounded curls clipped right up until the final moments.

Then came the big reveal…

I started taking out the clips and… WOW. 😍

The volume. The bounce. The softness. EVERYTHING.

And once Rachel put her dress on, it all came together perfectly. She looked absolutely incredible.

It had that beautiful, old-English feel 🤍

Not just the panic haircut two weeks before the wedding! 🙈 Regular trims keep your hair healthy, stop split ends creeping further up the hair, and mean we don’t have to chop off half your length when you finally sit in my chair.

🧴 Invest in your hair care.
I know… “But Beth, the £1 shampoo works fine!” 😂 Does it though? Professional products are packed with ingredients designed for your hair type, and because they’re more concentrated, you use way less. Your hair (and future bridal photos) will thank you!

🎨 Have a colour plan.
Whether you’re dreaming of brighter blonde, richer brunette or just a freshen up, let’s have a plan. I love creating beautiful colour… but healthy hair always comes first. Because nobody wants hair that’s as crispy as a packet of ready salted and about as cooperative as cotton wool. 🙈

Everything was running smoothly, everyone was on time, and all of the bridesmaids were helping out wherever they could. It was such a wonderful atmosphere to be part of! 🤍

This was one of the largest bridal parties I’ve worked with so far, so I came prepared—not just with my hair tools and products, but also a few sugary treats to keep the girls going throughout the morning! 🤭🍬

Four years of Mr & Mrs Nash 🥹

Today I’m celebrating my wedding anniversary. A beautiful sunny day filled with so much laughter, love and memories I’ll treasure forever.

It may be four years ago now, but honestly it still feels like yesterday that I married the love of my life. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful man — not only an amazing husband, but the best dad to our two beautiful daughters too. 🫶

When a bridesmaid turns to me on the wedding morning and says, “I would LOVE this style… but I don’t think I can do it with my hair length” ..I totally get it!!

This bridesmaid actually wasn’t even planning on having her hair done at first, she was going to do it herself. But when it came to the morning, she didn’t want that added pressure or stress… and honestly.. I don’t blame her!

When a client comes in with their dream look, I love that, but sometimes, things like length, thickness, or natural texture can play a part in what’s realistically achievable. And that’s where I come in.

I’ll always be honest, because the last thing I want is for you to feel disappointed. But it doesn’t mean a “no”… it means let’s find a way to make it work for you.

She showed me a super voluminous French twist… and her hair was just past her shoulders 🙈

So I explained: we can absolutely do a French twist, but it would be a little softer, a little smaller, especially when we’re not using extensions.

She trusted me… and the end result? Beautiful!
It still hit the brief…just tailored to suit her hair!

And the best part? She got to sit back, relax, and enjoy the morning.. this is exactly how a wedding morning should feel 💁🏻‍♀️🫶

Are you a bride that says ‘I’m unsure about what hairstyle I want for my big day!’

Talking to many brides over the past months this comment has become more and more popular!

My advice..

-If you have book a supplier, look at their images FIRST! You chose them for a reason and it takes out the overwhelming google search of ‘hair-up’

-Look for images that have the same hair colour as you! Dark hair and blonde hair photos look COMPLETELYYYYYYY different even if the hair style is the same.

-Silence OUT AI!!! AI is becoming a problem in the industry to unrealistic looks. It’s tricky to pick it out sometimes..but look on social pages of people who you trust.

-Be open minded. I am transparent on my page. I say if I’ve added padding, hair extensions or if I tweaked the image slightly. Some styles have to have extensions-in my opinion!
